SHADOW ASSIGMENT

1/1300, F/5.6, ISO200, MANUAL, 55.00MM
SS 1/1500, F/5, ISO 100, MANUAL, 18.00mm
I found this photo on the internet showing a great shadow. At first the guy doing a trick on the skateboard caught my attention. Then looking at it you see his shadow perfectly matched with him doing the trick. It made me wonder how long the photographer took getting the perfect shot. The simple background is great for setting attention on the shadow. What could’ve struck the idea to get a shot like this. I love the creativity and the idea. It’s a cool picture and the guy just looks cool. Simple but yet a complex photo.

WHAT I LEARNED ABOUT CAMERA EXPOSURE AND CAMEREA MODES

I learned that ISO determines the sensitivity to light that goes in the camera. It could make your image blurry or grainy if not set right.

The aperture setting is used to monitor how much light goes through the camera hole.

The shutter speed controls how long the camera lense is open. Slow shutter speed can cause motion blur which is sometimes needed.

There are many camera modes such as auto, program, aperture, priority, shutter priority, manual, and bulb. We will be starting with manual to really learn how to use a camera.
